MASK making is part of the Venetian culture and history. The MASKS you will look at are handcrafted and fashioned after original designs developed in Italy during the 16th and 17th century together with the "Commedia dell"arte". Each mask is adorned and decorated with full respect to artisan traditions. Each mask is AUTHENTIC and comes with either a mark of or tag GUARANTEEING AUTHENTICITY.
MASKS are Paper Mache with hand painted metallic paints, medallions, bells, faux pearls and jewels. They have various types and colors of braided cords. Each MASK is unique with its own colors and the curlicue points vary from colored waves, music notes, Scenes of Venice and Tarot Cards. WE CARRY VARIOUS STYLES SUCH AS THE CARNDINAL MASK, JOKER MASK, JOLLY MASK, COMEDY AND TRADGEDY MASK, AS WELL AS MANY PARTY MASKS.
